This makes sense since the new CX-30 is the better version with more power, cargo, and updated designs. If you’re looking for a new CX-3 in 2022, you’re out of luck.

The Mazda CX-30 looks like a taller Mazda 3 hatchback but with a more rugged profile. Listed by U.S. News as the number one subcompact SUV, the CX-30 excels with its fun driving dynamics, sporty handling, and engaging steering.

For instance, all CX-5 versions come with standard AWD and a reworked six-speed automatic transmission.

However, as of this writing, the CX-50 is widely available now and is somewhat of an upgrade of the CX-5. Having said that, the CX-50 is a five-seater with a dash that looks to be quite truck-like. All models get a base 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine capable of 187 hp. Customers seeking more power will want the turbocharged variant that provides 256 horses.

In addition, the CX-50 has a wealth of standard and optional tech features. The CX-50 may seem like a puzzling addition to the growing Mazda lineup, but it is welcome.
