2022 Chevrolet Trax ($21,400)

The Trax is the smallest SUV in Chevy’s lineup and offers a value price tag if you’re looking for something that won’t break the bank. For 2022, the Trax gets a slight power bump with its new 1.4-liter turbocharged I-4 engine, producing 155 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque – 17 horses more than the previous model year. The Trax does an excellent job of providing essential SUV elements such as bigger cargo space and elevated driving position for an entry-level SUV.

However, it’s not particularly fast and lacks some essential creature comforts. The Trax’s low-rent cabin is a deal-breaker if you’re looking for a slightly posh interior.

Available trims:

  • LS
  • LT

2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer ($21,800)

The Chevy Trailblazer isn’t much more expensive than the Trax, but it stands out for its highly attractive styling that mimics the larger Blazer SUV. Updated for 2022, this spunky little SUV received new exterior color options and a standard heated steering wheel for the Activ and RS trims. Many buyers will also appreciate the Trailblazer’s spacious interior and available AWD. Its performance isn’t the best in the segment and could use a smoother ride. However, it’s still a solid pick for small SUVs, and the lower trims offer an excellent value proposition.

Available trims:

  • S
  • LT
  • Activ
  • RS

2022 Chevrolet Equinox ($26,300)

The Equinox is Chevy’s best-selling SUV, and the 2022 version gets a significant exterior makeover. A new grille design and brand-new front and rear fascia have been added to the Equinox to make it even more striking. Also, four new exterior color options are now available, including Iron Gray Metallic, Cherry Red Tintcoat, Seaglass Blue Metallic, and Blue Glow Metallic.

Now in its third generation, the Equinox SUV is better than ever. Thanks to its handsome styling, intuitive cabin, and excellent handling chassis. It also offers advanced standard features such as lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and auto high beams.

Available trims:

  • LS
  • LT
  • RS
  • Premier

2022 Chevrolet Blazer ($33,400)

When it comes to driving dynamics, many would agree that the Blazer is Chevy’s most fun-to-drive SUV. For the 2022 iteration, the 2LT, 3LT, and RS Blazer trims are now available in two-tone exteriors. Overall, the Blazer lineup receives two new color options: Nitro Yellow Metallic and Blue Glow Metallic. For engine choices, it’s your pick between a naturally aspirated V-6 and a turbo four engine.

Available trims:

  • 2LT
  • 3LT
  • RS
  • Premier

8 QUESTIONS TO ASK WHEN BUYING A USED CAR

So you’re in the market for a used vehicle?  We’ve gone ahead and prepped some essential questions to ask when buying a used car.

2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV ($33,500)

The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV marks the company’s expansion of its EV lineup. Compared to the Bolt hatchback, the Bolt EUV offers a more spacious cargo and a more rugged style. All Bolt EUV models are powered by a 200 hp electric motor and front-wheel drive. Unfortunately, there’s no AWD option for this all-electric SUV or EUV. The electric motor provides the much-needed perkiness and an acceleration of 60 mph in 6.8 seconds. It offers pretty competent handling, but it certainly could be better. Plus, its range is up to 247 relatively decent miles.

Available trims:

  • LT
  • Premier
  • Launch Edition

2022 Chevrolet Traverse ($35,095)

For 2022, the Traverse received some significant changes, including a new front grille, LED headlights, and daytime running lights. The higher Traverse trims RS, Premier, and High Country now have standard heated side mirrors and power folding. Moreover, Chevy’s Safety Assist bundle is now standard on all Traverse models, including features like automatic high beams, lane departure warning, and emergency braking.

Overall, the 2022 Traverse offers a fairly athletic performance, with good handling and excellent body control. Both exterior and interior spaces look great, and the cabin feels upscale and quiet while driving.

Available trims:

  • LS
  • LT
  • RS
  • Premier
  • High Country

2022 Chevrolet Tahoe ($52,000)

The Chevy Tahoe is a popular large SUV with plenty of versatility. For the 2022 model, the Tahoe boasts three new engine options: 3.0L I6 turbo-diesel (277 hp), 5.3L V8 (355 hp), and a 6.2L V8 engine (420 hp). The Tahoe also features 13 camera views so that you can keep tabs on your surroundings more effectively. All trims come with a standard 12.3-inch instrument cluster display and native Google compatibility (subscription required). The Tahoe has a relatively polarizing look, but many will appreciate its powerful engine options and quiet cabin.

Available trims:

  • LS
  • LT
  • RST
  • Z71
  • Premier
  • High Country

2022 Chevrolet Suburban ($54,700)

Like the Tahoe, the Suburban received a refresh last year, so there’s not much in terms of updates. As the largest in the Chevy SUV lineup, the Suburban can comfortably accommodate all eight of your family members. The new Suburban is noticeably larger than its previous years, with a couple more inches of legroom for the second and third rows. Having said that, the 2022 Suburban is powered by the same engines as the Tahoe.

However, the spacious cabin doesn’t benefit from high-end touches because of the outdated layout and low-quality materials.
