There are engine options to give the equivalent of 302, 362, and 416 horsepower. The battery range is between 208 and 265 miles depending on the motor (returning the equivalent of 89 to 95 mpg.) Because these motors are contained within the wheel hubs, there is storage space under the hood as well as in the trunk. The Model S is so unique that it earned Consumer Report's highest rating ever.
