2016 GMC Sierra 3500HD
One-Ton Truck
GMC likes to call their trucks "professional grade", and the Sierra 3500 is the truck to really earn that reputation. Beneath the new body and interior for 2015, the truck offers the capacities at a near commercial-level. The gasoline V8 is both powerful and responsive, and the optional turbo diesel is a tow king. Off-road capabilities are enhanced with an available full 4x4 drivetrain with low-range transfer case, and optional dual rear wheels help keep more traction for the really big loads. There is an array of styles, including passenger cabs that has a regular cab holding up to three people, a four-door extended cab for up to six, and a crew cab that still can seat six (only five with an optional front bucket seats) but offers a half-foot more leg room in the rear. It is also available in standard box (6'7") or long box (8'2").
