Mercedes' flagship five-passenger sedan still innovative even on the pre-owned market, and the hybrid version delivers some of the best economy in the luxury cars. This version of the S-Class is no exception with options massaging front seats and exceptional interior space that rivals the competitors extended wheelbase models. The 3.5-liter gas/electric hybrid model was not only the least expensive S-Class model when new, but its 19/25 mpg city/highway is one of the most fuel efficient (only outshone by its diesel counterpart.) Consumer Reports recommended this model S-Class when it was new.
