This four-person convertible is how BMW gets back to sports car basics. It offers the same engine lineup as its larger brother, the previous generation BMW 3-Series, but in a lighter, smaller and less expensive package. This creates a convertible that not only can fit well in an urban environment, but also it is a lot of fun on the back roads. The 1-Series is recommended by Consumer Reports.
